I original purchased this headgear because I wanted synthetic leather products. I was happily surprised when I started using it because of how flexible it was. The other impressive point about this headgear was that the cheek protectors do not obstruct vision at all, yet still offer excellent protection. I haven't had the head gear long enough to know too much about long term durability, but so far it has shown to hold together quite well. There is a cord on the top, and also a velcro back, so it is easy to adjust to multiple head sizes.

I second the TS's review. This piece isn't the least expensive (or the most, I suppose), but it does a great job. The occasional black eye still sneaks its way in there though.

Nice review. I've had this in black for a while now and it's a good piece.

I used these at the MT school I was at temporarily in Korea. I felt like it provided "okay" coverage but in a very good comprehensive area. I however did feel that it was a bit restraining, but that might be because I have a big head. Also I am not used to a chin bar.
