this was my previous style prior to moving up to north california.
I wanted to get some opinions from people that are familiar with the style? what do you all think of it? effectiveness? etc.
I personally liked the style...was into it for a little over a year... so just enough to have gotten the feel of it but not enough to know more about it's affectiveness. My shihan taught a good amount of street type Judo and explained many theories and techniques involved in JJJ that were somewhat different than Judo. A lot of pressure points were emphasised...a lot of 'disturbing one's flow of energy' type of strikes. so yea, just thought i'd share...
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.
