BJ's wrestling IS good enough relative to Silva's, but Silva's reach and weight advantage would make it too hard for him IMO. If BJ could get one takedown, chances are it would end w/ RNC.

BJ is undefeated at MW. Granted the guys he fought aren't as good as Anderson.

Why would Anderson want to fight Noguiera? They're friends and training partners, he wouldn't even fight Filho, who is in his weight class. I'm pretty sure he won't fight someone two weight classes bigger.

You're right, people from Black House/former Chute Boxe tend not to want to fight each other (Wandy, Nog, Silva, etc.)

He fought at MW a few years ago. Once in 2004 and once in 2005. He beat Renzo and Rodrigo Gracie.

As much as that might sound like a joke, he actually posted video of himself on his website eating fastfood to gain weight for his second fight w/ Hughes.

After reading such brilliant statements as

"Anderson is the best striker, in any sport, ever"
"Anderson will walk through 205, there's no one that can touch him"
    "Anderson can beat Fedor"
    "Anderson tools Big Nog"
"BJ Penn would not last a round against anderson"

And other complete nut riding statements involving Anderson Silva being damned near capable of doing anything short of flying and shooting laser beams out of his eyes I have to beg the question, am I the only one who hasn't been drinking the UFC's kool aid and sees Anderson as a very good fighter who can get out struck by AA,Mirko, Wandy...etc.? I don't know I'm just finding the level of Silva nut huggerry to be of epic proportions...it borders on painful.

Replace Anderson's name with GSP, and you have a number of people at this board.

I've never heard anyone say that GSP can beat Nog and Fedor.
