fighters needed for charity event!

We will be hosting our 5th charity event sept 13th, We put on amature genesis mma/Shooto smokers we are in need of fighters for our next show!

the following are the weight classes,
139
149
155
169
175
189
205
215
250
super hvwt.
in both open & Executive class (age 34 & over!)

we run 3 X 3 min rds using uskba genesis rules, we have hosted over 175 smoker bouts without an injury in the ring (during our first show a drunk hurt his knee on the karoke machine.)

100% of the proceedes of these smoker/demo bouts go to charity and we give title belts % trophies.

This event will be to raise $$ for a soilder who lost his arm in Iraq & is competing in the Paralympics, He fought for you, please consider fighting for him.

This is a great event for begginners, you are ready to compete with us, if you spar you will fare well here period.

We are located 3 hours from NYC, 3 hours from Boston, 1 1/2 hourst from Hartford Conn, 1 hour from Albany. Easily accsesible from Mass, Eastern PA, Conn, NY, NJ Vermont & NH.

Clubs bringing 3 or more fighters traveling over 150 miles will be given a room with advance notice & names of fighters (I will throw in a case of beer as well, since you are helping a guy who gave up so much.)

By the way Bullshido seems to be the place where the fighters actually come from, all I get from the other sights in keyboard commandos, we have gained 5 fighters from my posts here, this is a sight for non-spectators !

Where is this place exactly and what's the venue? Also, who's the sanctioning body?

Theres no sanctioning body. It's in East Durham, NY, just outside Albany.

I fought there once, will be there on this card @ 175lbs, LI GUY 1 has fought 2x and will be on this one too, 170lbs I think. KempoFist and ojqqsxr have also fought in it.

It's not some 5 start hotel, it's held at a local resort in the area, right outside the bar. Fun time and everything was safe.

our event is a chance to show what you got, high class sparring, like smoker bouts! We have medical personell, i.e. dr & EMT's it is just a great time!

please guys it is fun, great place to start like GiJoe said we are not a 5 star hotel, or a casino, but you can gain valuble experience, have fun, drink beer, meet nice looking russian girls, & fight!

& thats why we are here!, No one gets paid we just fight to better our skills,

I have fought in 4 of the 6 shows we have done/ typo the first time 2-2! (hey i'm 35 guys you young un's should be jumping at this!)

anyway up to this point we have raised $7,500 for charity! we built a wheel chair ramp for a disabled wrestler & provided 75 1 year scholorships for Martial arts gyms to underpriviliged boys throughout NY,

Our Smokers make a difference!

Just some further info anout why we are doing this event.

Our recipent is a young soilder named Michelle, Michelle hails from the outskirts of Troy NY. She joined the Army directly out of high school at age 18, Michelle then went on to basic, AIT & her tech school, her first duty station was in southern Iraq were her re-supply convoy hit an IED & Michelle lost both of her legs at the age of 19 serving her country.

Michelle attempts to daily adjust to her surrondings & new lifestyle. She continues to try & involve herself in athletics & has partcipated in several Wounded Warrior events. We would like to help her out!

We have 15 smokers funded at $250 each, we need fighters to fill them, please help!

IF YOU SPAR AT YOUR GYM WE CAN MATCH YOU, YOU ARE READY!!! This is very entry level, why not try! It will only improve your skill level!

We need fighters at the following weights
165
185
215
275

We also need white collar fighters (over age 34) at
155-169
170-180
215-225

These bouts are all ready sponsered, we also can match anyone your gym has, we are getting $250 per bout straight to Michelle, so we really need to fill these spots!

Gyms coming more than 150 miles & having 3 or more matched fighters we will get a room!

Still need fighters? Any age restrictions? I'd PM but I need more posts or something stupid.

Need to talk to my main trainer before I even consider this but information would be appreciated. Thanks.
