How come we don't have anything this awesome in the US?
I love the japanese submission grappling league Contenders. You get to so many talented fighters doing pure grappling and so many unique moves. Not only that, but they have tag team matches with live tags!YouTube - 「G.C.M THE CONTENDERS 5」 Uno/Takase vs Suzuki/Ito

tagging in/out seems like you could easily get into super long matchesIn summation your argument denotes a lack of intellectual honesty on your part. It is my contention that this matter would best be solved with fisticuffs. I believe I will be victorious in this regard.

They're limited on time with judges deciding the winner, but here's the thing about the live tag: the guy coming in can just jump into a dominate postion. So you get a double team going by tagging in your partner, holding down the opponent until he gets in the ring, then giving your partner an advantage.
See what I mean at 3:40 of the first video.

Huh, I had no idea that Minoru Suzuki did this sort of stuff; i'm only familiar with his work as a pro wrestler.
Some very good lighter weight MMA fighters were involved with these guys. Very cool!
