The first book is by the late Dan Duchaine and the latter is by Lyle McDonald.


Both are cyclical ketogenic diets [CKD] that last 7 days. While there are significant differences between the two diets [2.0 is seen as an upgrade to the former], both require 3 1/2 days of low carb, 24-36 hours of carb loading, and 2 days of maintenance.


I am starting the diet next Tuesday. Has anyone done these diets?
