    KMA historical resources

Anybody have reccomendable books on KMA history? Specifically from Japanese occupation onward if possible. Prefferably from academic sourced books although I do fit the requirement for the 'Dummies' series.

I would use wikipedia, or Google/Google Scholar if you're trying to look for history. Otherwise, That's all I can recommend.
But I can say for sure, that during japanese occupation, the practice of some martial arts in Korea were banned.

I've talked to a guy who said that "Taekwondo - Korean Traditional Martial Arts, Philosophy and Culture," by Lee, Kyoung Myong, was a good book on TKD history.
