Hopefully this doesn't fall under that rule againist making another annoying thread about training music...
I'm mainly into metal, bands like Linkin Park, Spineshank, Slipknot, Drowning Pool (sucks their singer died), System of a Down, and classic bands like AC DC and Metallica.
I'm also into softer rock occasionally and because of the whole metal hip hop movement (ala linkin park, limp bizkit) I'm not opposed to rap or hip hop and come to enjoy them.

Trance, house (some hard). And then bands like The Red Hots, Foo Fighters, anything with decent guitar really.

rock, but really i like guitar work and i like a groove, **** that metal **** that just trudges along and all that shitty dance, the beat in it is dead. So yea, i mostly like rock, blues, some techno, some pop (but most of it is overcommercialised shite that i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy) and pretty much anything that has a really good beat to it.

Most anything except country and shred metal. I even like some country ballads.
I tend to only buy jazz, good vocalists and kids music for the kids.

Faye Wong is good, some of her stuff is good for Taiji practice! Shaolin folk music is good too.
