The last time the UFC tried to undercut another show with counter-programming, their stuff turned out to be better than the competitor's (This was against the Elite XC primetime show, so it's not saying much. But still). Countering another show with crappy programming would be a lame and cheap way to suck up another show's potential customers, but the UFC's putting on good ****, especially this time.

I will be watching affliction. Out of intrest and principle. There is a UFC every other week these days. I have no problem passing it up for a potentially good show. Additionally, the first hour of affliction will be free on Fox Sports.
