    Cheers again, Lily! As for adjusting the speeds and inclines, I try to maintain the "Three Points Of Contact" rule that rock-climbers do. Well, at least I saw it in a movie with rock-climbing (that I'm sure wasn't Cliffhanger) and it sounds like sensible advice, so I'm going to assume it's legit.

    Oh no syg...its just 1 point of contact really when you're running (eg. one foot on the ground at a time) with the occassional 2nd point of contact when your finger adjust the settings.

    There will be no hanging on to the support bars while you're running or walking. My rule on the treadmill is that my legs do the work and when I'm tired and just want to hold on and support myself with my upper body, I put my hands on top of my head.
