This BS is why we hate "TMA". Someone call it BMA, for bullshit martial arts... Traditional stuff isn't always bad you know.

Let me say this agein. I hate BMA.

I just finished it, there was some good, some bad, overall I liked it.

The guy was pretty good in my opinion. Tough break that he didnt do as well as he
wanted in the competition. I liked the demos too, although I thought they were a bit stylized.

anyone else think the way they were fighting in the competition sucked? they just tap eachother and it's counted as a point. they also just leave their legs up there. why didn't he just kick the rear leg.

    Breaking is crap
    Point sparring is crap
And his katas were more gymnastic then martial

The way the double sticks were presented was also disapointing... no closed guard, no heavens six. It was pathetic!!

The show was just a bunch of cliche phrases and flashy moves thrown together to look and sound philosophical, traditional and scientific, but it was none of them. I did enjoy watching it though for pure entertainment, and I was intrigued by the theories behind drunken kung fu and the monkey poles. If there are more installments in the series I will probably watch them.

The show sucked almost more than anything that has ever sucked before.

gymnastic BS..no experience in a fight ARGH! Katana *THE ULTIMATE WEAPON* damn, I like the sword but it's not the ultimate anything. what a dumb comment. It's a sword, stop over mystifying it. would have been better if demura drop kata dance boy on his head. AND the forms were ****..no power, all show and flash, no real spirit in them. And the point sparring suck even for point sparring.

    it sucked.

MMMMmmmmm....further proof that some martial arts are just Manly Dancing. Love the training comments, where the one insecure man wearing spandexy looking clothing told the other one wearing spandexy looking clothes, that he had to sell his moves, doesnt matter if they are technically correct, but he has to sell it in his face. My nieces ballet teacher told her the same thing, he must be a secret Black Belt. Also, never realized that to be a proper martial artist one must always practice without a shirt.
