I would buy a Gabe Rudiger figure if it came with a plastic cake and enema machine.Today on CNBC Dana did not make that "Big Announcement" that has been discussed over the past several days. He was on the show to announce that the UFC was coming out with a line of UFC action figures and accessories. While on the show the interviewer asked him to eliminate some of the possible rumors that have been circulating. Dana confirmed that the announcement had nothing to do with Mayweather, a TV deal, going public or WWE. If the action figures were the big announcement the CNBC interviewer would have asked questions about the big announcement. He would have asked questions like, "Why is this such a big deal for the UFC?".
Bottom line there is still an announcement to be made later this week.
For the people that are discrediting the action figure announcement, it is still quite significant. The UFC/MMA supporting demographic has been 18-34, with the action figures they will be tapping into a younger audience. This will help push MMA into the mainstream.
As far as a source is concerned, I watched the segment on CNBC.You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there. -

Thanks to our good friend David “Jaeger” Andrest, it looks like UFC President Dana White and Brock Lesnar will announce on CNBC today at 12:45 p.m. ET a new merchandising deal with toy maker JAKKS Pacific
This announcement likely isn’t going to be the same as what will be announced on Thursday. That is, unless Dana is like the Steve Carrell character in the “40-Year Old Virgin” and is so excited action figures that he needs a company-wide meeting to discuss

My cousin gave me some tapes of him doing tkd. I learned from those tapes. When I beat up an Akido instructor, and made him take rest breaks, I used TKD. I learned Bjj from watching ufc and pride and then I copied them and wrestled my cousin for practice. I choked him out and he tapped. -
