Vera got F***ED

Brando Vera got hosed last night.
Not only am I upset by the fact that I picked him to win, but the fact that the ref quality is dropping faster than a Catholic Priests pants at a Boys Choir Convention.

Vera was clearly not in trouble, he was moving around and not just laying there. Who was the ref for that? Who? I dont care if it was Dana White himself, that ref needs to go back to reffing little league soccer games in podunk America.

I know that they are thrying to err on the side of caution to keep the matches from becoming a bloodfest, but when a guy gets hosed like that it hurts him professionally by fucking up his fight record.

Brandon Vera got rooked. Period.

Dan Margliotta, same person responsible for the Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson fix.

Edit: Actually, Margliotta's quick stoppage in the Vera fight sort of discredits the "fix" theory.

With that little time left in the round, he should have let it go, bad judgment on the ref's part for sure.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten that he stopped it with 18 seconds left in the round. Maybe he had dinner reservations somewhere. This makes it even worse.

IIF is right, this guy could be behind some of the greatest upsets in history. Maybe he was the police escort for Oswalt when Ruby shot him.

I think to be a ref you should have fight experience.
