I don't know. I don't live there anymore so it doesn't really matter. I was just curious to know if anyone knew anything about it and how their schools compared to WTF or ITF schools. -

Looking at the website it seems to be a "good" WTF school. They do the taeguek poomse (http://www.worldtaekwondoacademy.net/content/view/53/76/), require their instructors to be Kukkiwon certified (http://www.worldtaekwondoacademy.net...nt/view/24/39/) and have some impressive olympic credentials (http://www.worldtaekwondoacademy.net/content/view/17/32/).

I am interested if their MMA class is any good. According to their website, the MMA team from the WTA school went undefeated in Iowa. Curious what tournament this was in, and the rules. The school looks promising, but if someone who has had experience with this school, especially with the MMA classes, it would be of much help.

Damn, I didn't realize they were WTF. Good detective work there, sir! All of my experience with TKD came when I was around 11 years old. I was involved for about a year and a half. At the time, I had no awareness of orgnizations like the WTF, ITF or ATA. I'm thinking that my school must have been independent because I've never seen anyone else do the forms that I was taught.

One thing I took note of was that apparently the MMA class is only available at one location. According to the website, the MMA instructor is Dave Menne. I wasn't familiar with the name, but according to Wikipedia he was the UFC Middleweight Champ from Sept. 2001 to Jan. 2002. So I assume the instruction would be legitimate. That's pretty impressive for a TKD school.
