Heh, the facility they are using used to be our school. When we were there, there was a BBQ joint, a Hooters, a pool hall and a gym all in the same plaza (plus a lot more). I have lots of memories of running sprints in the back parking lot with the smell of smoked meat permeating the air. Hooters has since left, but I still frequent the pool hall.

That pretty much sums it up right there.

That's actually pretty cool. Nothing wrong with that. It shows they care about the neighbrhood and well being of the kids. Also it's probably good for business, makes the dojo more connected to the family.

You sure? I thought anything other than teaching fighting was a BS McDojo hallmark. ;)

Sounds like they are going for the dojo/daycare angle. Didn't someone recently get into trouble in the news because the city was insisting he have a daycare permit for running a after school kids class at his dojo?
