World Oyama is a Kyokushin offshoot. This dojo, originally founded by Frank Clark (of Fighting Black Kings), is now run by his student Mike Skinner with other instructors. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7pm to 8:30. Phone (845) 883-6245.
Classes involve hard contact, no-equipment or minimal-equipment sparring for adults. Kids wear headgear and padded cloth gloves. Tournaments are attended several times a year. Gradings are similar. Classes also include kata, pad work, heavy bag work, a consistent warmup, fundamentals and basics.
Everyone there is friendly. The classes are hard and strict but also warm.
New Paltz judo is run Tuesdays and Saturdays out of the same location by Zach Baum. New Paltz judo's website: http://newpaltzjudo.blogspot.com/

Wish I'd known about this place when I was still living in New Paltz. How long have they been there?

Previously, they were in a different location on 299, between Highland and New Paltz. Now they're on the other side of New Paltz on 44/55, south of Rt-32, right at the 90 degree turn that intersects with CR-10.
