    Elite XC looks fake **SPOILERS**

Besides being excessively mainstream and watered down compared to the UFC, I've seen too many awkward moments in this organization, and not just the fights tonight. Shamrock vs Le simply didn't look quite right at times, and Le was Fryklund was outright bizarre. Some of the knockouts look legitimate, but I still think the organization is shoot fighting with pre-determined endings. The key is not always noticeable in the blows themselves, but in some of the transitions to and from the clench, ground, etc. They look set up.

The more I look at this stuff, the more it makes me appreciate UFC and the old Pride events.

EliteXC is just an org that is still young and is trying to sensationalize their fights. They want to make MMA have the same kind of flair that Boxing used to and that means building up the personalities.
They also have some shitty camera work and are really having to add a lot of fluff to their shows because of the shitty fights they keep making.

If it were fixed, the fight endings would have been more interestingly definitive.

I don't think it was predetermined fixed, I think a couple of fighters that were supposed to dominate were looking like they could beat and Shaw was telling officials to stop the fights at the first opportunity.

Fixed might not be the right word, how about scared? I think CBS was scared to have fighters getting their brains splattered on national tv.
