I was gonna say...cutting from 150-155 seems more like it.

God, your like my ex girlfriend

    her:
"I like him because of his hair" (guida)
    me:
    ...
    her:
    "I like his shorts" (griffin)
    me:
    ...
    her:
    What?

    Me:
Nothing, babe, can you go get some more popcorn?

Though, in her defense, she did have a television that was BIGGER then me, and we watched mma on it, all the time.

PROOF that I'm not a completely useless poster:

A guy from my gym has fought in the WEC before (took time off for medical reasons). He fights at 145 and cuts from 165-170. Cuts that big are getting more common.

I know GSP cuts about 20 and Franklin closer to 25 to make their weight classes...it's just Pulver doesn't seem big enough to ever make it to 170.

*Hijack* Why cut so much? What are the advantages? Over say, just cutting about 10 pounds.

generally you cut weight to avoid fights you can't win. I think BJ just wants to be the first guy to hold a belt in every weight class though.
