A handful of half assed armbars and triangles and one legitimate move towards a toe hold.
I started off no gi, and now am 50/50.

A') How much mma sparring have you done
He was getting punched in the face, regardless. I'd much rather get punched whle attempting to win, then get punched cuddling with another guy. Also, see above question.
A") How much have you been punched in the face while working anything from the guard
Like elements of his jits game, for example, when i play half-guard, i have specific things i'm looking for, and moves that i keep in my head. I'm saying that you shouldn't throw everything you have on yoru TUF teammates, when training, because you'll end up fighting them...
B) Like what, armbars? You're retarded.
The clear power of many of those punches suggests that you do not, in fact, have a valid opinion.
Jesse played a conservative game but also demonstrated decent gnp.

Jesse proves every stereotype about MMA fighters.
You must have been watching some other fight...
I saw a guy maintaining good control on top who was able to deliver shots to his opponent essentially unopposed and with little risk. It wasn't as exciting as the Amir fight, but it wasn't the incompetent hugging match that you're making it out to be.
With the possible exception that I don't think he thanked Jesus for letting him piss on his own leg.
i'm starting to think that dana is actually going to award the winner of the finale with a four figure contract in the wec.

Let me school you fools for a second.
Dante is not a very good fighter, and had very little in his arsenal. We saw this in his first fight when he didn't do ****. I hate to be harsh, but dude needs a different career.
Jesse is only slightly better than Dante. His takedown into smash from guard was indeed relatively dull. Not as boring as others, but is still stank of lay n pray.
Matt Brown came out swinging like a ************, and connected with some ****, threw some great combos, but left himself open a little, obvoiusly.
Amir came back and started walloping the ************ like he should have. I was afraid that he wouldn't, because he seemed to lack confidence, but I was very happy he did.
I don't think either of them were supremely technical strikers, in fact Amir threw some unorthodox and relatively ineffective strikes. But when he landed good ****, it couted, as you saw from the knee to the liver and various punches that put Matt Brown on the back foot.
What won the fight for Amir was his strong chin, his ability to fight back, his takedowns/defense, and his submission skills. In short, he was much more well rounded than Matt. Matched him on the feet, outclassed him on the ground and in the clinch.
I'm looking forward to good things from Amir, and I rate him about as highly as CB Dalloway.
Also, Amir is quite funny: "What, of course I'm a little worried. I'm gonna have to get in the ring with a trained killer, this guy is gonna try and hurt me".
He is a great fighter with lots of potential, and he has charisma.
What's that? Oh sure, I'll leave you some space on Amir's nuts.
Although, I would like to see him with some cleaner striking though.
