hey i am planning in investing some cash to buy a thai pad so my brother can kick it, but from my experience in muay thai class is that if someone is a kicks with decent power some pads will hurt your arms and since only my bro is going to hold for cousin and vice vera, i dont want them to complain to me all day long about how the pad is hurting them and asking me to hold it during my peaceful summer break
so any good recommendations that wont cost my whole wallet?

Just tell them to buy a heavy hanging bag.

Thai Pads are the best. If they bitch about getting hurt, they obviously need some forearm conditioning. They will get used to it after awhile.
