Best preperation. Be willing to accept being tapped at will, and constantly.

    Hey Anthony,

I have joined that mailing list but can't really relate to any of the mailings just yet. I suppose it will get more applicable as soon as I begin the class.

It won't be the first time I've had to drop my pride while learning a new MA so being tapped won't bother me at all. Actually I really look forward to it!!

    Chudo,

I wanted to comment as well on the age issue. I'm 34 myself, and train 6 days a week, with Sunday off.

The best advice I read on mma.tv about us "older" guys is on some days, take it really light, not going more than 60 percent of your total, and one day go full out. I've taken this advice and been ok injury wise. I've hurt my shoulder, and both elbows, but still able to train with the injuries.

It definately has become a lifetime journey with me. I hope so for you too.
