Could you provide some evidence of your accomplishments as WhiteShark suggested buddy? That'd be cool.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

Straight kicks just above the belt to maintain distance were very useful for me. Side kick and thrust front kick both saw lots of use. Stopping someone hard just once early while they're coming in makes them worry about getting past that the rest of the fight.
My feeling towards high kicks is that they are impractical and dangerous, unless they connect, in which case they're really good. -

I thought I was done with proving and explaining myself awhile ago, but I keep falling into the debating and arguing trap. You know what? everybody has their own opinions. So the best thing to do is experiment and find what works for you and stick with it, whether it be high kicks, low kicks , BJJ, Boxing,or what have you (sorry if I left anyones particular style out). there is no best #1 do it all style of fighting out there.
