I'm sure there is just a good amount of featherweight folks as also higherweight classes to not to segregate all filipino's as short and skinny. Pot calling the kettle black since I am short and skinny but nevertheless.

Either way the more fighters the merrier and great for the UFC!

I've got cousins taller than me in the P.I. The nothern Pinoys are bigger due to the influx of european blood. It's a cooler climate.

    :)

We hide out in the north.

The size and height is from my father's side, which is Northern Pinoy. My mother is from Manila. This is a mini reunion on my mother's side, and you can see the difference.

I was heads taller than everyone, and my twins at 12, were pretty much eye level, now they are 5' 8".

I can see why Dana wanna pursue this in the P.I.

Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
