UFC Eyeing Philippines, Germany, Australia

I think Germany is good bet also, Boxing is big business in Germany so i dont see why the UFC would'nt be successful.

Also it's a wealthy country with a fairly large poulation so lots of money to be made by Mr White.

Actually, I have the opposite experience. Everyone I knew who did FMA were rich geeks with drivers and nannies waiting for them outside the gym. I think it's the same with BJJ/MMA now. One of the best grappling schools in the country meets at a private school's gym.

Anyway, I think the UFC would go over well in the Phils. The company would obviously play up the country's boxing history, and there is a rabid set of fans over there, let me tell you.

So I don't see any problem with them embracing the UFC.

I'd like to see it down here in Aus as well, give some of our local fighters a chance to show what they have got.

Only half true, people, especially politicians, would ban it for being to brutal or what so ever. They try to ban computer games and **** claiming it would cause violence and murder... crazy people running this country, they make Gorge look reasonable from time to time.
I would like to see it here in Germany but that won't happen. The money is there but not the “surroundings” you need in order to make this a big event.
Plus MMA is not that famous in Germany, people don't know about it, they know boxing, maybe Judo and Karate/KungFu from movies, end of story for UFC in Germany. :sad10:
