Foxguitar: some schools teach technique but never teach you how to apply them. I am not talking about what the strikes do and where to hit the person, I am talking about being able to pull off the technique on an opponent who is fighting back 100%.

Instead they train like this: Uke punches in, tori does technique, repeat. That is fine sometimes but it is unrealistic to think that the uke wil only throw one punch and then just stand there for you to hit back. The answer to this is incorporating different types of sparring into the training along with pad work and any other type of training that provides realistic feedback.

Sure I can , but I happen to like the senseis that run these schools , and seeing what i see of people talking badly about people just because they think they can .

Out of respect for these people I would rather not have some twat bad mouth them

I am not a student of theirs , Im not all that familiar with Kenpo or Kempo other than the one Kenpo Class I took , But like I said I respect these people and im not going to take the chance someone will **** talk them or trash them out of just being assholes.

I would have no hesitation to talk about a Dojo I was involved or a instructor or a style i was very familiar . Cause then Id be stating my opinion based on my own experience.
Here Im simply inquiring about Dojos that Im familiar with the instructors but not on such a close level as a student .

KempoFist: add to the discussion or GTFO bitch!

Campbell's Kickboxing and Karate is a legit Kempo school.
Any of Tom Ingargiola's schools are legit.

I have seen their classes and fought on a card with one of their guys, have met them all in person, etc.
