Thread: 9/11 was an inside job

I know it's all been dismissed, but here it goes again:
The 24-member 9/11 Consensus Panel – which includes physicists, chemists, engineers, commercial pilots, attorneys and lawyers – today announced three new studies confirming the controlled demolition of World Trade Center 7.
The studies scientifically refute the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) claim that, for the first time in history, fire caused the sudden and complete collapse of a large, fire-protected, steel-framed building on 9/11.
(Note that whereas the Consensus Panel uses a scientific methodology to peer-review its work, the NIST report was not peer-reviewed.)
The first Panel study deals with the NIST computer simulations, which purported to show that fire-induced thermal expansion caused a girder to be pushed off its seat at Column 79, thereby initiating a global collapse of the entire 47-storey building at 5:21 in the afternoon.
However, a recent FOIA request has produced WTC 7 architectural drawings showing that the NIST simulations omitted basic structural supports that would have made this girder failure impossible.
The second Consensus Panel study deals with NIST’s claim that it did not recover any steel from this massive steel-frame skyscraper.
This is extraordinary, given the need to understand why a steel-frame building would have completely collapsed for the first time in history from fire alone, and to thereby prevent a recurrence.
We know now that some of the steel was recovered. Photographs recently obtained by researchers show the strange curled-up paper-thin WTC 7 steel, with a NIST investigator pointing it out.
The third Panel study shows that on September 11, 2001, many people were told hours in advance that WTC 7 was going to collapse.
MSNBC reporter Ashleigh Banfield said early in the afternoon: “I’ve heard several reports from several different officers now that that is the building that is going to go down next.”"Preparing mentally, the most important thing is, if you aren't doing it for the love of it, then don't do it." - Benny Urquidez

I like how this particularly unsupported conspiracy theory never dies, even though it is so tangentially related to the collapse of WTC1 and WTC2 and the deaths of thousands.
ANYTHING ANYTHING that keeps the fantasy alive, right? IF only they could somehow prove WTC7 was imploded...that would be the loose thread they could then use to attack the entire NIST framework and report.
LOL at "this conspiracy theory uses scientific review" as opposed to NIST, which is 100% public reviewed and could literally be reviewed by my sister's cat, if it could read and speak.
LOL at the suggestion that because these folks doubt certain aspects of the NIST report, they made up their own conclusion unsupported by any evidence.
LOL at the quotes by eyewitnesses taken out of context (the incident command status on the ground) and re-used to hedge the conspiracy theory instead.
If it had been a controlled demolition, they'd have been able to find at least one person who could confirm that.
They can't, they won't. 9/11 was not an inside job, but since just as many people are still yammering on the internet about Sandy Hook Elementary ALSO being a "false flag" operation...
We do have a mental health crisis in America. They're all using the fucking internet too.

6/04/2014 12:31pm, #264MSNBC reporter Ashleigh Banfield said early in the afternoon: “I’ve heard several reports from several different officers now that that is the building that is going to go down next.”
I'm sure these illustrious, self-appointed "panels" who went INTO the panels believing the conclusion that it was an inside job and surprisingly reported as such....could find these gentlemen and record their story!
Which would of course not be that they were SCHEDULED to be destroyed, but that they were expected to because firefighters and incident commanders do this sort of **** every day in America....watch and wait for burning buildings to crumble.
Note that their ivory tower of scientists, pilots (??), and lawyers (???) don't seem to include any fire chiefs or arson investigators...they'd introduce too much common sense into the Panels for them to effectively hedge the conspiracy theory.
If you're wondering why this **** gets my panties in a twist, remember I lost a friend on the flight from Logan, his last moments spent crashing into the World Trade Center, and 13 years later idiots on Youtube are still telling me he never existed, and oh haven't I seen the latest blah blah blah "for Truth" garbage.
No offense Pat, but these Panels can Get **** On.

Maybe Hamilton, co-chair of he 9/11 commission is crazy too?
"So there were all kinds of reasons we thought we were set up to fail."
The two co-chairs of the Commission, Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, believe that the government established the Commission in a way that ensured that it would fail. In their book Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission describing their experience serving, Hamilton listed a number of reasons for reaching this conclusion, including: the late establishment of the Commission and the very short deadline imposed on its work; the insufficient funds (3 million dollars), initially allocated for conducting such an extensive investigation (later the Commission requested additional funds but received only a fraction of the funds requested and the chairs still felt hamstrung); the many politicians who opposed the establishment of the Commission; the continuing resistance and opposition to the work of the Commission by many politicians, particularly those who did not wish to be blamed for any of what happened; the deception of the Commission by various key government agencies, including the Department of Defense, NORAD and the FAA; and, the denial of access by various agencies to documents and witnesses. "So there were all kinds of reasons we thought we were set up to fail."
"Director Freeh criticized the Commission for allowing the Pentagon to withhold key evidence about the facts found by Able Danger and concluded that these inadequacies raised serious questions about the credibility of the 9/11 Commission."
So Freeh is protecting the FBI? Or was the commission flawed?"Preparing mentally, the most important thing is, if you aren't doing it for the love of it, then don't do it." - Benny Urquidez

So I will use some of the "science" demonstrated in the link:
World Trade Center 7 is TALLER than any controlled demolition ever. There has NEVER been a controlled demolition of that height. The people at the scene indicated the building was coming down but did not delay the explosion. All controlled demolitions are triggered by a person, not a timer. Timers are NOT used for the initial detonation. This evidence shows consensus agreement that it was not controlled demolition.

Commissions (and "Truth Panels") are as flawed and reactionary as the flawed and reactionary human beings on them.
The thing about horror is that your mind will always do its best to rationalize it even when it's not possible. Any explanation of the horror you can convince yourself of, no matter how extreme, is milder than the truth. Too easy to believe it wasn't mad terrorists or the murder of babies in school...it's the GOV'MENT!
Al Qaeda has taken so many lives and cost so much in destruction since 9/11...yet here are these folks convinced the real enemy is the US Government, who can't even keep their private sector contractors from spilling state secrets to China and Russia.
Stop giving the government so much credit...between Wikileaks and Snowden, our national intelligence agencies are the leakiest and worst they've ever been. IF 9/11 were black flag, people wouldn't still be theorycrafting...they'd have documents and testimony by now.
These "Truth Panels" basically rely on hearsay, 3rd hand opinions, and most of all, unsubstantiated fears of an Orwellian government, that, quite frankly, gets caught with its pants around its ankles so often, Vladimir Putin had the chutzpah to sit down with Snowden, the worst leaker of US secrets in history, Barbara Walters-style.
