Preventative Annihilation of Funglor?

Over the past month or so I've developed a serious enmity for the fungi in my life. A few weeks after starting BJJ I got ringworm. I lamisil'd the hell out of that, and it died. A few months after that, it came again. Same thing, lamisil'd, and it died, but not after keeping me out for two weeks. Funglor, as I have now named him, is persistant.

It seems to be a cycle. Every few months I get ringworm, regardless of how fastidious I am about showering after class or keeping my **** clean, and then I use lamisil and Tea Tree and it goes away. I was relavitively comfortable with this trade off, until Funglor broke the fucking rules.

I started a lifeguard job a few months ago which means I walk around in a public pool wearing flipflops all the god damn time. Surprise! Athlete's foot!

Well, I'm sick of this reactionary bullshit. Is there anything I can do to preventatively destroy Funglor's foul legions before they attack my skin? Fire? Full body neoprene
skin graft?

Head and Shoulders shampoo.

No I'm not kidding. The active ingredient in dandruff shampoo is a fungicidal. Use it as a bodywash after practice. Generic is like $1.50.

And it smells better then apple cider vinegar which will work as well as goldenseal root.

It may have been the same infection. Make sure you don't have ringworm hiding somewhere else on your body. Like on your scalp. Or in your ass crack.

a dermatologist once told me that over the counter creams are pretty pathetic. go to a dermatologist and get a prescription for something potent.

Foot powder is good for preventing athlete's foot. Just get in the habit of sprinkling a little on once a day.

You need to locate the guy in the gym you keep catching it from. Arm the rest of the students with all of the excellent suggestions so far, and have a delousing session.
