you really gottta hand it to jens for going five rounds with faber. that really proves that he's still a factor. my hubby wants faber vs. sean sherk. i would love to see them kill eachother. sean sherk is a moron, and urijah faber just looks like a fucking cartoon.

That first fight combined all the intensity of point sparring with the excitement of lay'n'pray, but the two title fights were probably the greatest thing I've ever watched.

HA BJ will will make him look like Joe Stevenson at the end of that fight. Faber shouldnt even dream of Penn.

edit- Sherk would own Faber as well.

Faber looked a hell of a lot better than BJ did the first time he fought Pulver...and I say this as a guy who would love to see Faber's decapitated head punted out of the cage, it's foot long mane of gold trailing behind it...

hey, i felt bad for joe stevenson after that fight. imagine if your promoter came to with:
"yeah, um. we got you a fight."
    joe steve: "really?! great!"
promoter: "well.... it's with BJ penn."
joe steve: "who? you mumbled at the end there."
    promoter: "BJ Penn"
joe steve: "BJ penn?...... but why?"
promoter: "this hypothetical dialogue is going on way too long"

seriously though. i thought he did awesome for fighting bj. you can't expect to go in and beat bj. that's not realistic. unless you're on angel dust.

Or if your name happens to be GSP. I think a rematch would be sweet. And I think GSP would win again.

Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver, and Lyoto Machida also hold wins over the Hawaian Man Child. And considering that every time GSP rematches someone, it's demolition, I believe the fight will consist of Rush bouncing BJ around the Octagon like an basketball.

Cant stop the Rush. If he goes to middleweight it will be interesting. I still think he will be unstoppable. VS Silva would be very interesting.

I was thinking the same thing. Elite X/C= rappers, chicks who can't dance in time, Baroni, and bad fights that have strange endings. WEC, no bs, just straight up good fights. Miguel Torres was amazing, 3 power packed rounds. Faber and Pulver, I can't believe Jens made it all 5 rounds. Faber is the real deal. Even the Munez and that 6ft 6 dude was an interesting fight.
