Obviously I'm rating my own school here, so I'll try to be honest with our strengths/weaknesses to the full contact fighter.

I think #1, our Olympic sparring technique is very sound. I've got over 80 gold medals, and I teach TKD that is applicable, not "showy."

There is a huge emphasis on personal development, and how to apply the physical lessons of training to life lessons of everyday. To some this is hugely appealing, but to many full contact fighters - maybe not.

A lot of 1st place champions came in last place in life because they could never figure out how to use the skills of the dojiang in their outside life.
