Why would you train here, instead of those other places?

Its all in the name, son.

That is not conducive to passionate cunnilingus, my friend, let me assure you.

He maybe be a good coach, but I have no desire to see him fight. He's just past his prime (in my opinion) and I never cared for his particular brand of showmanship anyway. He seems to have a head for business and I think he should just stick to that. His upcoming match in the UFC will pretty much seal it if he doesn't win. Time will tell.

I train at ATT not only because it's the best school around, it's the only school around. There's not a lot of options in my part of Florida.

It's not like in CA or Vegas where there are 10 different high quality gyms within a 3 mile radius.

There's ATT PSL and then The Armory in Jupiter. Seeing as how I started out at ATT (at the main academy), and the fact that ATT PSL is literally right across the street from me compared to a 40 minute drive without traffic to The Armory, yeah, it's easy to see why I made the choice I did.

And to the guy who said you don't get individualized attention at popular/large schools, that has some truth to it, but you can either do privates or just ask the instructor to show you something.

Point in case, I rolled with Din Thomas on Monday, and Mario Rinaldi today, the main instructors, and they helped me out and showed me a few things and gave me some pointers.

It really depends on the place. Honestly, I like ATT PSL better than the main academy, because when I left ATT Coconut Creek, the BJJ class was getting ridiculously big. Easily 40-50 students on an average day. While it's good to have tons of training partners with wildly different games, I like it here better because the class is much smaller, you get more attention, and it just feels like a more friendly place. At the main academy I only knew about 1/3 or so of the students, and it was a lot more impersonal. You'd get a lot more spazzers and guys gunning for you down there compared to up here where it's chill and laid back.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

So you pick up women at your gym and, I'm assuming, train at your local bar? Gyms are for training, nightlife is for picking up women.

your reading into it too much.

Someone said...why train at team punishment...

i said 'its all in the name'

someone posted al ong rant as to why they train at ATT (which is fine, ATT is amazing, and when i am able, i plan to move so i can train there)

so i posted about how names are important, and team punishment is a pretty cool name.

He's saying "TEAM PUNISHMENT" sounds cool, whereas the name "American Top Team" doesn't.

I'm going to disagree, because "American" "Top" "Team" sounds bad ass, and less corny than "TEAM ANAL PUNISHMENT". But to each their own.
