Really, I can't believe they made this announcement prior to Vera-Werdum. Honestly, Mir is worse than both and Arlovski would make short work of Mir and Gonzaga most likely. Mir isn't even top 10. And this is the HW division I'm talking about. Where is Eddie Sanchez's shot?

Arlovski's good, but short work? He's got a dodgy knee and Gonzaga has probably the best low kicks of the heavyweight division. And his Jits is world-class. I don't count out Arlovski, but I'm not sure he would still be walking without a limp by round three.

Doesn't Mir have a fight coming up against McCully? Shouldn't they have waited until after that fight to announce that Mir was a coach? I mean what if he loses? Then you got a guy with a recent loss coaching against the current HW champ and he gets a title shot at the end of the season. Bad decision making going on here.
