Alvarez-Hansen was a much better fight, possibly a FOTY candidate.

TKO is still a KO, just technical. Most fighters win via TKO rather than KO. But they're classified as the same.

Being able to hear them every hit, and even their breathing, is fucking awesome.

Don't you just love the japanese fans?

So much better than those loud, raucous, barely civilized, grappling hating americans.

Between that and Bas' chatter it was like being lulled into a nice fantasy world.

Here's a write up i did for somewere, well at least the first couple paragraphs.

I'm sitting with a few mates in front of my TV, feeling spastic due to the energy drink Iím pumping into my arteries - when Dream starts. The bombastic music and larger than life production values indicative of Japanese MMA completely engulf my senses and for the next few hours Iím dead to everyone in the room that isnít planning to punch someone in the face with 6oz gloves.
    The Hype

With all the heavy internet scrutiny thrown HdNetís way after their Dream 1 & 2 broadcasts, some changes were bound to happen. Mark Cuban is listening and we, as fans, are reaping the awards.

Since the demise of PrideFC fans have deemed anything Japanese with a few big name fighters the ďnext PrideĒ. Although Pride-like in its epic scale and Bas Ruttenís cheeky commentary (his Lenne Hardt impressions during entrances Ė classic, indifferent Bas), what dream has done here is create a whole new organization.

How often do you see a towel thrown? That's why it was weird. As for out on his feet, concussed=/=out.

No, they aren't. That's why there's TKO and KO. A KO implying loss of conciousness. I think maybe you've been TKO'ed too many times.
