Shonen Jump is basically a weekly compilation published by Shueisha that targets young male readers (Shonen) since like all manga publishers Shueisha publishes magazines that target different readers like Magaret Magazines that target the female fanbase (Shojo), you get the idea.
Jump is responsible for publishing some the most popular Shonen titles: DBZ, Fist Of The North Star, Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin aka Samurai X, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Kinnikuman (the original 80's manga), Mazinger Z, City Hunter, Kimagure Orange Road, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slam Dunk, Death Note, D Grayman, Hitman Reborn, Hunter X Hunter and Yugioh just to name a few.
It also holds the annual Tezuka Awards (named after the Godfather Of Manga and Anime Osamu Tezuka) for new or up and coming comic artists in Japan.
