Since none of them are pro fighters, or UFC light heavy weight champions, and none of them have the ability to make his life a living hell on teh show...
Personally I'm hoping we get to see another technical street fight.

I think that Brown looked quite good standing with May. In the first thirty seconds or however long it was that May was throwing those wide, looping punches, Brown kept his hands up, avoided getting hit while in the pocket and then decked him with a straight right. It was kind of subtle, Brown wasn't slipping or weaving dramatically but I was impressed.

Some great quotes from that episode:

"I want to beat his ass...in a good, Christian way"
    "Matt Brown to win by...murder"
    "Show me the AAAnimal!"
    "No Retreat! No Surrender!"
    "I got controoooool"

Nah. But it does show how the sport is evolving.

1994: Fred Ettish's Fetal Fighting System.
    2008: Jeremy Jitsu

JJ is more efficient at achieving its ultimate aim because you get bombed on from the mount rather than having taking occasional kicks to the face by a confused Johnny Rhodes trying to work out if you're going to try to get the **** up. The proliferation of BJJ in the intervening years demonstrated to Jeremy May how to get yourself into an even worse position than Ettish's.

I finally watched this on TiVo. That was the worst striking I've seen on TUF. I hope none of those 4 make it to the real UFC.

How long does Anderson Silva have to take the division apart with crisp accurate striking before people start focusing on it?

Did anybody else notice the commercial for the show DEA back to back with a commercial for Grand Theft Auto 4. I thought that was funny as hell.

I wonder the same thing...it seems like everyone is still focusing on the grappling, and not so much on the striking (I'm not just saying submissions, i'm talking about takedown ---> gnp...). It really makes me want to become a good striker...but i just don't know what i want to take...but thats a discussion for another time.

Also, whenever i heard the adjective 'crisp' it makes me think of iceberg lettuce, and i get thirsty... would the be Operant or Classical Conditioning...(pavlov ftw!)

Given the fact that he said this a couple of times, with a huge smirk, it had to be a joke. Which makes me want to like the guy.

I considered that, but he seems to have that stupid grin constantly, so I don't know if it really means anything.
