Funny how you are ranting because, you got upset about one person calling you out.
Yet, here you sit ranting and raving.
Which has nothing to do with you blowing a gasket and posting the same goodbye in four different threads.TAKE THE FUCKING GLOVES OFF and then see who gets bloody owned. The hood mentality is crippling disease, that attacks your nervous system. It makes you nervous of the system. Gangsters and hood rats are especially susceptible to this growth stunting mentality. The hood is where I'm from, but it's not what I am. No I got upset because of the obvious double standards here, in my world when you call someone out you have the bollocks to follow it up not hide behind a power structure and by the way I think you should stick to your bloody rules, thats what peeves me.
I think thats dead reasonable actually and frankly I think you do too but just wont admit it. -

He doesn't have to admit anything. There is no double standard in this thread. How's this for a strategy? Former point sparrers have lots of bad habits, but I can think of 3 especially bad ones. First, they (okay, I) tend to fall for fakes really easily since getting touched is a point, and keeping any strike away is of paramount important in point sparring. Secondly, and sort of the corollary to that one, once they hit their opponent, the action stops and they get a point, so they drop their hands or go into a theatrical "I just scored a point" stance. Third, and again branching off from the previous 2, since the action stops at a touch and heavy contact is penalized, strikes often have no power.
So, why not use these against them? First, obviously you can throw a lot of fakes, specifically fake high, go low or vice-versa. More importantly, combining the second and third bad habits, once you gauge their power by blocking a few shots to make sure they don't have any, let them hit you. Really, just let them make contact. Often point sparrers will have no clue what to do next, so do this. They make contact -> Hit them just hard enough to knock them off balance and to the floor, with a jab or low kick-turned foot sweep. Repeat until they start throwing wild, then pick them apart easily.
Thoughts, criticisms? I think it'd work against a good amount of point sparrers.
