No, I was saying that she expanded her argument against anti-Vietnam War protests to include every other protest during the Nixon administration, as well as similar complaints during the Reagan, Bush, and W. Bush administrations.

This is the 11th Co CP at Trabinhdong, in NOV 67. I was with 11th Co then and when they moved up to the Hoi An area. The famous battle was earlier, in FEB 67, where two NVA regiments and a VC battalion (my memory sucks) tried to overrun the company position. After lots of hand-to-hand inside the perimeter, they were turned back. Only about 30+ ROK Marines were KIA, and a huge number of attackers were killed. It was this battle that precipitated a (captured) letter from an NVA general to field units, to avoid contact with these Korean Marines.
Some of the guys reportedly thought this was the end, disassembled and scattered their rifles just as the hand-to-hand began. Sounds odd, I can't vouch for that, but that's what now is Marine Corps history, and legend.
Here is the ANGLICO team and a couple of ROK Marines, at Trabinhdong at the approximate date of the big event. There are some misspellings on the photo. The taller ANGLICO Marine saved the life of a Korean FO, both friends today.

A long time ago (when I was younger and better looking) I was wandering through one of the casinos in Atlantic City (I think it was the Taj Mahal but I can't remember) and I was stopped by a security guard (I looked pretty young for my age and he thought I was under 21). He asked me for my ID and I showed him my passport which had my place of birth listed as Seoul, Korea.

I thought it was a pretty random thing for this guy to just bring up but it goes to show you that if there are some people who think the ROKMC's are pussies, he certainly wasn't one of them.
Anyone who says the ROKMC are pussies has never met one & likely wouldn't say it to their face.

ROK soldiers are hard corp and have my respect. served on DMZ 2/9 Inf Manchus in 1978 /79 . Had the chance to attend a small part of the ROKMC Ranger basic mountaineering phase and it was brutal enough, never heard anyone call them a ***** to their face, they may very well, ONCE, lol. Friends and relatives that I know whom served in vietnam have nothing but high praise for the ROK soldier.
As opposed to Brazilian TKD?
