    Wanderlei Silva training for Jardine

    YouTube - Wanderlei Silva Training

Wanderlei is doing some different and interesting training. I think Wandy will be his best ever now that he has chnaged up his training.
I like Jardine but I'm hoping to see Silva brutalize him.

That's him training for Chuck, not Jardine. Wand blamed his overemphasize on cardio and lack or training his hands for his loss.

fuckin awesome, though I have my doubts about the theory and science behind the snorkel bit. Building up lactic acid is something that I don't see as positive towards your training session, and working through it isn't really as beneficial as preventing it from happening (by focusing on staying relaxed and taking supplements that hinders the build-up, thus allowing you to train longer and harder).

I thought it was just a clever was to replicate high altitude training at sea level by limiting oxygen to the body.

    this is for a rematch?

if so, this clip better be misdirection because as I recall one of the bigger issues with the Liddell fight was that he wanted to stand and trade punches with an excellent striker with a similar style and a reach advantage.

Chuck approached the fight significantly smarter taking full advantage of the UFC scoring system and timing takedowns perfectly. I expect him to continue to do the same and would think that Wand's new strategy should emphasize more diversity than trying to improve upon the same approach he used before.

What are you talking about? There is no rematch.

    thus the question mark.

it was odd that someone would post a liddell/silva promo reel now.

h_sh_m: Also you said takedowns (as in 2) I thought Chuck only did 1 takedown.
