Its not. With any other fighter it would be. But with BJ all I ever hear is "BJ will win unless he gasses" wich is kinda stating the obvious for any fighter.

This exact same logic made me give my money to Travis Lutter for burning.

Prior to Penn no one had ever RNC'ed Hughes. (whose RNC defense is well documented)
Prior to Penn no one had ever RNC'ed Stevenson.
Prior to Penn no one had ever RNC'ed Gomi.
Prior to Penn, no one had ever laid down that sort of ass-kicking on Gomi. Since then Nick Diaz did so too though. (edit: no, he didn't actually. He won but took a lot of damage. Penn bled out Gomi before subbing him).

Sherk is no GSP though. He's not Hughes either, he's baby Hughes.
Those are the two guys that are the only reason people think BJ doesn't train hard. (maybe the slightly underwhelming Renzo fight too)

    On Jardine/Silva:

If Wanderlei plays his clinch game and throws those knees that KOed Quentin Jackson, he should do pretty well. But if he decides, once again, to box with a guy who has a gi-normous reach advantage on him, I'll go with Jardine by split decision.

Silva is going to have a hard time at LHW in the UFC. No way was Liddell only three inches taller than him. He needs to hit MW.

Edit: Jardine doesn't have the chin for Silva, and Machida is just as boring as Tito so he will win. Also I don't like Soko because he KOed Lil' Nog :(

The same could be said that Silva dosnt have the chin for Jardine. Both are excelent strikers and both have been ktfo recently. I think Jardine is simply more of a precision striker.

Matt hughes exceeds sherk in a lot of things- cardio is not one of them. Sherk in round five is always the same as sherk in round one.
