If you hurt your rotator cuff the first thing I would recommend is going to see an Active Relief Therapist, can do a world of good. If you want good ways to strengthen your rotator cuff try doing the overhead walk and the overhead figure eight, these excercises will make your shoulder stabilizers fire and increase rotator cuff strength.
To do them get either a barbell( to start) or barbells(more advanced) pick them up above your head as if you're doing shoulder press and start walking. Try to walk for somewhere around two to five minutes. For a figure eight mark out a figure eight thats about ten to fifteen feet long and walk around it with the weight held above your head.
Looks goofy, works great. -
