Unfortunately my department is in the PPCT kick, and I HATE IT. "Watch me pinch you here...see, that **** hurt huh? Now do that to your buddies. Good, moving on to eye-gouging."

Soooo, they have padded their stats with attainable certifications that cost money and take time, but give you no life experiences. Sounds a little like Luke Holloway. Oh and they teach Ninja. So, it's Luke Holloway fucking Ralph Severe and shitting out Orlando Mancia.

My questions still stand...what qualifies them to teach firearms (CQB)? I wouldn't want an ER doctor teaching the Cardiology class to the student that is about to do my transplant. They might have some of the knowledge, but they have a lack of practical experience.

Re: International Tactical Training Academy (ITTA), Orlando Mancia

Yeah, I hear yah. My first experience training at the academy was a let down. But they started getting better and better.

These guys seem like a really in depth larpfest! Luke Halloway would love them, or the mountain ninja crazies.

Let's note that this is a thread where Hiro tried to give someone "advice".

Did Frank Dux or Ashida Kim teach Hatusmi? That sounds exactly like Dux Ryu Ninjitsu except instead of espionage movies, he fantasized about being a CIA spook.

If you are enjoying yourself, that's all well and good. Far be it from me our anyone to tell you to quit something you enjoy. But I am going to be honest: a background in ninjutsu does NOT qualify someone to teach close quarters combat or gun defense. And if this guy really claims to be teaching realistic self-defense with no other qualifications than his ninjutsu training, he is being dishonest with you. That would be reason enough for me not to train at this place, no matter how much fun it is.

Well that answered absolutely nothing. This is in Calgary, right? What's it like training underwater?
