    Hell yeah! Hell no!
Why should we make fun of someone's who's experience mirrors, albeit in a particularly hardcore manner, so many of our own member's?

Anyone who devotes a significant portion of their life to an enterprise that results in failure and then, rather than giving up, does his best to evolve and improve, deserves nothing but respect.

How many people would have done what Mr. Ettish did after his UFC fight? The answer? Not many.

What kills me is how quickly the rest of the Karate community distanced itself from Fred after his failure. Had he cleaned house, they'd all be clamoring to claim association. Same thing with Scott Morris and his school, and how the Ninjers claimed he didn't have "the real" Ninjutsu.

A real martial artist can look at a fight, assess where things went right or wrong, and go from there. A LARPer or fanboy, just sees the result, and clings to their chosen art like a security blanket.

If Jeremy Bullock isn't available, maybe they can get John Matua

seriously, though, where could you find a reasonable opponent for a 52-year-old with no real experience? regardless of his conditioning & dedication, he'd have to be overmatched by any younger fighter with cage experience. where do you find a credible opponent for a late-middle-aged rookie?

Kalib Starnes? A match for someone to redeem themselves.
