    bullshido Fight Report: May 22, 2008. Affliction Banned NYC Press Conference

    I had the pleasure of covering the May 22nd Affliction Banned: Fedor vs Sylvia press conference in NYC...and even more pleasure to share the day with you guys here at Bullshido. I posted nearly the entire press conference for you guys so, the video is in 3 parts.

    In attendance today were Fedor Emilianenko, Tim Sylvia, Josh Barnett, Renato Sobral, Fabio Nascimento, Ben Rothwell, Matt Lindland, Mike Whitehead, and Pedro Rizzo.

    Enjoy the conference. This is shaping up to be an incredibly stacked card. I am told that Arlovski's spot on the card will be officially announced in about a week and that "little" Nogiera has signed onto the card as well.

    The first hour of the night will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net with Alexander Emilianenko's bout as the Fox main event. The PPV show will begin right after.

    I will post some pics from the press conference soon.

    I don't know. He was a nice guy for sure. Speaking live is different than in front of a camera. But, I did not think he seemed that nervous.
