BJ´s wrestling is one of the most underrated tools in MMA. He also outwrestled Gomi and even Hughes in their first fight (and in the second fight up until he suffered the injury).

This very true. Finishing Soku helped with him removing his stigma of being a decision fighter (which was unwarranted anyway, he's stopped lots of people). Nonetheless his fighting is not as dynamic as some others out there and it seems to be hard to generate much excitement about him.

Tito, historically, has also had a boring but effective style. However, Tito had a personality/persona that generated excitement (or hatred) on the part of fans.

I enjoy watching Machida fight.

The Question: I do as well, even if it does go to decision, the other guy looks like he went 10 rounds whilst Lyoto looks fine!

Although this match won't be handed to him on a plate, I think Lyoto should come out with a win.

I keep saying with Machida: I don't care if a round in one of his fights contains 4 minutes of dead time, because the 5-6 times he engages for those 45 sec.-1 min. are a blaze of technical skill and unorthodox technique that no one's been able to match yet.

Machida's one of the few fighters that actually makes fights more interesting by not being aggressive all the time. The tension builds to an incredible level because he's so quick and technical that he can completely change the momentum of the fight with a single stop-jab. He's basically a cobra in human form.

I agree with you that Machida can be like a cobra in the ring. I love watching how quickly he finds holes in his opponent and goes for them. I really hope he can get a title shot after this match if he wins, I mean, after going undefeated he really deserves one.

Problem is Rashad Evans and Tihiago Silva are also undefeated at that weight class. These three guys are sort of logjammed just below the top of 205, they need to be pitted against one another at once. My money is on Jardine getting the shot at Rampage/Forrest if he gets by Wanderlei.

Vince: He deserves it more in my opinion, he just beat the Iceman on points.

Also I'm still not overly impressed with Evans but he does indeed have the right to say he's undefeated. Perhaps Thiago vs Rashad fight should be in order next time.

I've only seen Thiago's fight against Alexander. Who else has he beaten? I agree with ADM that Evans vs. Thiago should happen, then maybe one of them should fight Machima, so we can get some rankings going. I hate this whole 'undeated' thing. It makes everything so confusing.
