I would guess that his attitude is of greater concern here, despite the poor performance. Giving his opponent the bird as well as calling his cornerman a ****** would obviously reflect poorly.

I'm still finding myself lacking pity for the guy.
    Me either.

You might still be welcome in the gym, but I doubt they would ever give you another fight under their name.
I'm sure they will still let him come train at the gym if he's paying the membership, but I imagine he will have to do some pretty extreme work before he ever gets another fight under their banner.

Kalib is a good fighter but seems mentaly weak especially when he gets hurt and someone who lashes out rather than digs down deep.

His performance does, from the public perspective affect the team's reputation as producing tough, competent fighters. Despite his skills it is no surprise that ATT does not wish to be associated with someone like him when he's performing on such a high profile stage.

While Kalib really is no reflection on ATT, for the casual fan or prospective student that distinction will be hard to make. ATT is doing well in the UFC but arguably their biggest prospects are elsewhere, adn the UFC matters.

If he realy was trying to make a point about the pay scale, it would have been a lot better to have turned down the fight. His behavior will be a big obstacle to try to overcome if he plans to continue in the sport.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I posted his reply in the Starnes cut from UFC thread. Essentially he reckons he broke his foot so he decided run on it for 15 mins, as he didnt want to get KTFO.
