If he wanted to make a statement about being underpaid, I think an actual statement might've done just as well. There are better ways to get ones' point across than running in circles backwards and acting like a toddler.
Going about it in this fashion made him look like he was completely unwilling to fight.
I normally get deeply irritated by just about any booing (I generally feel that anyone booing a fighter should be given the option of putting their money where their mouth is) but in this case, not only was it justified, I think it was the right thing to do.
I'd far rather have seen one of the other undercard fights. -

Sorry for coming in late and replying to the OP, but anyway...
I think I know what you're saying, **** talking from arm chari warriors is bad, but there was a lot to crtique about Starnes' performance. A lot! I won't **** talk him, I think the judges score cards did said all the things that were needed to be said (30 - 24).
It was a very bad fight on his behalf, I hope he goes back and trains hard as one would hope you're doing when fighting at the UFC level. -
