Pretty sure the "statement about low pay" bit is a poor attempt at picking up the pieces of his shattered dignity and walking away without looking like a complete bitch. Makes him look like even more of a bitch in my eyes.

Thanks for clarifying that. KenmpoFist is cute and all, and the Turtle thing is a big turn on, but I just dont think she is my type.

If he wanted to make a statement about being underpaid, I think an actual statement might've done just as well. There are better ways to get ones' point across than running in circles backwards and acting like a toddler.
Going about it in this fashion made him look like he was completely unwilling to fight.

I normally get deeply irritated by just about any booing (I generally feel that anyone booing a fighter should be given the option of putting their money where their mouth is) but in this case, not only was it justified, I think it was the right thing to do.

I'd far rather have seen one of the other undercard fights.

A co-worker of mine just also mentioned that he screwed Quarry who had to train for the fight and had been working hard for the fans.

Sorry for coming in late and replying to the OP, but anyway...

I think I know what you're saying, **** talking from arm chari warriors is bad, but there was a lot to crtique about Starnes' performance. A lot! I won't **** talk him, I think the judges score cards did said all the things that were needed to be said (30 - 24).

It was a very bad fight on his behalf, I hope he goes back and trains hard as one would hope you're doing when fighting at the UFC level.
