The cutter made fumikomiashi as he made the cut, this is very difficult to adjust mai-ai 'in flight' and also the easiest to **** up in terms of getting the distance right between you and your opponent first time because it's an all out 100% commitment in movement...

I don't think the person with the injury comprehended (before hand) just what a fool he was being.

The guy doing the cutting didn't impress me with his ability and I suspect this is a Kendo dojo rather than iai or kenjutsu.

Regardless, they're a bunch of fucking twats for event thinking about such a stunt

By the sounds being made from these swords, I'm guessing that are iaito, never the less; as you can see they can cause injuries and the potention for death still exists, even though the toshin are alloy composite.
