    Why people are dangerous

Make of this what you will.. rest assured I'm not at all impressed however for the LULZ factor, here's why you should not let fucking morons (even Japanese morons) near Nihonto.

Holy sheeeet. He (the guy who was cut) stepped back a little in reaction, did that have some kind of significance to the outcome?

I think he was VERY LUCKY indeed.

Yep, he stepped back slightly, had he not, I think there would have been a much more serious outcome.

I thought it looked like that.

Being a complete layman, I also thought that perhaps since he stepped back the cutter had to adjust to hit the target and overcorrected.

    Some scary stuff.

The cutter made fumikomiashi as he made the cut, this is very difficult to adjust mai-ai 'in flight' and also the easiest to **** up in terms of getting the distance right between you and your opponent first time because it's an all out 100% commitment in movement...

I don't think the person with the injury comprehended (before hand) just what a fool he was being.

The guy doing the cutting didn't impress me with his ability and I suspect this is a Kendo dojo rather than iai or kenjutsu.

Regardless, they're a bunch of fucking twats for event thinking about such a stunt

thoug they are obvious 'tards I do kind of like this one as it shows how stupid a lot of empty hand of disarm techniques (i.e bujinkan) are if the other guy even just semi knows what he is doing.
