Other than that it seems to be split between actual Kenpo as you would think of it (kung fu/karate mixes) in the form of japanese branches like Shorinji (shaolin?) Kenpo, Japanese Kenpo, Sushi kenpo, etc. with all the rest seeming to be to either popular hawaiian branches or a catch all term used by Americans making their own style.

    Is that about right?

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Man there are a lot of kenpo styles out there, and at first I knew Kempo, Kajukenbo. and American Kenpo. Now there are hundreds of them. Sushi Kenpo, Shrimp Genpo(Kenpo) Kentucky Fried Kenpo, Toasted Kenpo, Kenpo Shishkabob, New England Kenpo, Manhattan Style Kenpo, Shredded Pork Kenpo, Barbequed Kenpo, Kenpo with Cheese, Kenpo Death Touch.....I mean really I need to know which is right and which isn't. I respect all martial arts and I do like Kenpo, but somebody help me pleeeeeeeaaasssssee Heeeeeeelp meeeeeeeheheheheheheeeeee! Later that evening ellies went stark raving mad and set fire to his Dojo!!:qright2: :tongue3::tongue3::tongue3:
