Just looking for a gym, any gym, that is open over the christmas and new year period that has some boxing bags to use.
Want to keep up my training while the gym is closed.
Anywhere in Perth metro area that you know of?

Thats a very specific question for a worldwide forum that not even people from Perth are likely to be able to answer, your best bet is to get a list of boxing/mt gyms in the area and start ringing numbers. I wouldn't really count on finding one though, most will close for at least a week over xmas.
In the future post stuff like this in newbietown.
"Boxing is the art of hitting an opponent from the furthest distance away, exposing the least amount of your body while getting into position to punch with maximum leverage and not getting hit."

The reason I posted here was because I have already tried ringing numbers.

rest for the week over christmas then. I can't see how one week off will really make any difference. personally, I use Christmas as a chance to heal up, when I'm in training I could be in the gym anything between 4-8 times a week I'm welcoming the week's rest.

Do heaps of sprint training and shadow work in the time off while your body heals up (as MMAMikey said). A week is nothing.

Ive got a key to the gym I train at and can go 24/7
Doesn't help you what so ever but im sure other gyms allow trusted members to own keys and such.

when there's no training equipment in your reach and you have that desperate feeling of lonliness deep within your soul, there's only one solution....
cell-phone timer + shadowboxing.

sprints, clean+jerks, push press, deadlifts, weighted dips and chins are great for coming back stronger after the holidays and only require basic equipment
