I'm watching this event right now on Justin.tv. Where the ****'s the G-Man?!?!? They have Bruce Beck and Jeff Blatnick, but no friggin G-Man? No Jim Brown, either. Meyorwitz only half-assed this one.

I just saw the Pat smith vs butterbean fight on daily motion....I wanted to vomit but that would be too dignified of a response.

Yeah, Butterbean didn't look so good. I was however, very impressed by Smith's standup. The dude looks just as good, if not better, at 45 than he did at 30.

It is easy to look good when you are fighting an everlast bag. That fight demonstrated nothing...except Smith's inflated ego during his showboating over a freakshow win.

I thought Butterbean was going to crack Smith's skull with a single blow. Needless to say, the actual result of the fight was quite surprising and was probably Smith's biggest win in quite a while. I suppose that means that Smith should be in line for a fight with Kimbo Slice.

Holy crap, what happened to the Bean? Here I was defending him as a legit contender, what with his respectable boxing record, several MMA wins by submission, and training with American Top Team...then he puts on a remarkable imitation of a turtle laying on its back, flailing and unable to stand up. Shoot.

Yeah, what was up with Butterbean turtling like that? I thought he had better grapple knowledge than that... did he stop training with ATT or what?

Then again, it's kinda hard to shrimp when you weight over 400 pounds...
