TKD bullshit conditioning? I do not think for 1 second that TKD comes near wrestling but I doubt you have ever taken a good TKD class if you think their conditioning is bullshit.

No I plan on doing much plyometrics, and resitance training. I am currently 185lbs 5' 10" with a 275 bench press and a 400lbs squat. I plan on dropping my weight lifting to more of a repitition based work out.

As for my sprawl, my tai chi takes care of that.
Listen buddy, my style is a joke. ok?

I knew this kid who I grappled with and sparred with(he kicked me in the face and left a bruise in my lower side abdomen)

so unless your name is trevor and you are an emo kid who took three years of tai chi(the kind that's akin to kickboxing with wrist strikes and punch-fast pokes) your tai chi is utter and complete BULLSHIT.

I have done wrestling in the past. and I was kicked out of it beacause my grades slipped. nonetheless I was a wrestler.

I wish you would go into a cagefight so you can get your ass kicked.

I wish I could lift more, I mean I can curl a 35 a couple of times, I can run a mile without stopping. but I know thats not good enough. My MA background is not good enough either, I'm still learning.

you however, need to train more to do MMA. this is the toughest sport out there, and it is not a game.

I may not have done enough grappling, or ever submitted someone in BJJ, but Iweight 208, and I'm 5'10, I'm sure I got enough weight to elbow your face in.

Actually I insist in calling him sifu. He tells me to call him David. I never bother asking him what we were doing until 5 months into practice. He simply advetised it as Chinese Martial Arts. He told me when I asked "if you really have to know it is Tai Chi Chuan, but I do not like advertising it as such because most westerners mistake it for slow moving health exercises and that is only part of a much bigger equation."

I'm going to assume you really aren't trolling...
Yes, TKD can be a kicking element of MMA if it's trained correctly with the other pieces. BUT, there are assloads of bad habits to get rid of, and modifications to some of the kicks required (round kick striking location for one).

Oh yes. Absolutely. First thing I got rid of was not following through with my kicks as if we were going for points. Yes I keep my hands up.

I am just playing with most of you. I know what you mean, I wanted to know if you possibly see TKD as turning into a more legitimate style to be used in the cage. Since my kicking techniques come from TKD I have a biased view. That is all. I'm not slow. If your mind has not changed on the matter after seeing those fights that is fine. I was just curious.
My mind hasn't changed, your retarded trolling saying that TKD isn't represented enough in MMAs is what made me post.

    Website? No.

We've been renting floor space at my TKD gym for the past 3 months. My Sa bu nim doesn't mind it brings a new element to the dojang. We sometimes go to some boxing gyms and pay the day fee.
